A REVOLUTION IN DRIVER SAFTEY
During impact with the front tires the steering wheel whips violently, the drivers thumbs can get caught in the spokes of the steering wheel, causing the wrist to fracture. The drivers grip on the wheel can also cause the wrist to fracture during these violent wheel “Kickback” situations. The scaphoid bone is the most common bone to be broken in the wrist from these kickbacks.
These devices release that energy and isolate the energy away from the drivers wrist, allowing the driver to continue to race, work, and play without the pain and expense of medical bills associated with an emergency room visit, ambulance ride, or surgery.
Multiple drivers have also stated that they have not had to replace spindles or steering components since installing these devices.

Device (SCD)
Scaphoid wrist injuries are all too common in the racing world and can be easily reduced with a simple addition to your vehicle.
The Patent Pending Steering Coupling Device (SCD) is designed by a driver, for drivers, of open wheel racecars.
PATENTED TECHNOLOGY
The Steering Coupling Device (SCD) minimizes the impacts from frontal collisions violently thrashing the steering column leading to injury. Tests have shown the SCD Device greatly improves the driver's ability to grip the steering wheel and ultimately walk away with little to no injury to the wrist area after impact.
